How can artists make hidden conditions tangible, and help people connect with the ecosystems and infrastructure that supports their lives? This panel and Q&A is a collaboration between City as Living Laboratory (CALL), New York Botanical Gardens (NYBG), and the NYC Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) to illustrate how artist + scientist + community partnerships can promote greater understanding of how the historic ecology of NYC and DEP’s cloudburst infrastructure are working in tandem to mitigate climate change driven flooding.
