Fountain of the Planets: Flushing Meadows Corona Park

Did you know that Flushing Meadows-Corona Park was once a tidal estuary and marshland? Join City as Living Laboratory (CALL) and artist Niceli Portugal in an art making workshop and joyful parade to Flushing Creek to learn more about the water beneath your feet! 

As part of CALL’s Water // Ways initiative, this event seeks to deepen the understanding of the increasing phenomenon of cloudbursts, sudden intense rainstorms affecting the Corona neighborhood. All are welcome, RSVP below.
