Wednesday, November 19th | 6-8PM
In this final Dialogue for the Designing for Public Life program series, Mary Miss presented her New York City work and discussed founding City as Living Laboratory with architect Ann Marie Baranowski, FAIA, Founding Principal, AMBA PLLC.
Bringing an artist's perspective to physical examples of public places and how we inhabit them, some of the themes examined included:

How can people connect to environmental challenges through direct experience in NYC's public places?

Active Now: ALL GIFTS MATCHED 2X
Last week we launched our year end appeal. Through the end of the year, your gift will be DOUBLED thanks to the generosity of a private donor. If 50% of our newsletter readers gave just $10 we would hit our fundraising goal today.
And keep an eye out for a special email on December 2nd for #GivingTuesday!
CALL is thrilled to share that the Tibbetts Estuary Tapestry is now installed in Poland at the 18th International Textile Triennial!
Artist Matthew López-Jensen says "The theme of the show is Deconstruction/Reconstruction, and the tapestry is literally about a deconstruction/reconstruction happening in the Bronx. It also feels like a piece of the BX is on view over there."
