Local communities are at the core of CALL's work. CALL facilitates dozens of public programs each year. Here's a few ways you can get involved:

Intern

CALL is accepting internship applications for the Spring 2024 and Summer 2024 semesters!

Programs and Administrative Intern

In this role, you will support CALL’s Programs, Administrative Operations, and Communications, with a focus on the Rescuing Tibbetts Initiative, and additional CALL projects and programs as necessary. This is a part-time paid position. 

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • General administrative, programming, and communication tasks

  • Entering and updating grant and donor information into databases 

  • Updating websites and social media platforms

  • Drafting email marketing newsletters

  • Designing Print and Digital Media assets

  • Editing photos and videos

  • Building CALL’s online community by engaging across social media platforms

  • Research for projects and related organizations

Preferred requirements and skills: 

  • An interest in environmental sustainability and passion for how artist-led projects can help build a more sustainable future;

  • Connection to the Bronx

  • Knowledge of contemporary art, particularly environmental and relational practices;

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets;

  • Experience with social media content development,  graphics/media software like Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Creative Cloud;

  • Spanish Language, speaking and writing, is helpful but not required; 

  •  A good sense of humor and genuine care and concern for your colleagues and the communities you work within.

Attend a Public Program

From WALKS to engaging artist projects, CaLL hosts many public events throughout the year across the country. Our programing is currently focused in New York City and Milwaukee. Visit our Events page or sign up for our Newsletter for the most accurate and up-to-date information. 


Volunteer On A Project

In addition to attending events, you can get involved in other ways, from participating on a committee or working group in your local area to helping CALL put on an event or fund-raise for a project.
