Academic Partnership

The MARY MISS / CITY as LIVING LABORATORY (MM/CaLL) Academic Partnership presents an opportunity for students to engage in a collaborative and creative process that can positively influence future environmental design and innovation. MARY MISS/CITY as LIVING LABORATORY initiated partnerships with academic institutions in 2011 to help map key hub sites, mine community information and interests to prepare for the BROADWAY: 1000 Steps test installation at 137th Street. Since 2011, MM/CaLL has engaged over 300 students from ten regional colleges and universities in its partnership including: City College of New York (CCNY), the CUNY Graduate Center, Columbia University, Parsons New School of Design, Pratt Institute, Marymount Manhattan College, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Architectural College of Boston, Pennsylvania State University, and the University of Virginia.
